Video: Griffin vs. Ortiz III fight of the night highlights
9 Rounds and 45 minutes. Not only did another great MMA trilogy end in Vegas last night, we witnessed the career of a Light Heavyweight competitor for the ages come to a close as well. Tito Ortiz never quit last night in the final fight of his UFC Hall of Fame career. Although Forrest may have taken the decision by blowing out Tito statistically when it came to using his feet and hands, it was Ortiz that landed the best strikes of the fight, knocking down Griffin twice.
Ortiz didn't get a proper farewell inside the cage after it was all said and done. Griffin stole his spotlight in one of the more interesting moments in UFC history by leaving the cage, then returning only to conduct the post-fight interview with Tito rather than allow Joe Rogan to do so. Bizzarre to say the least. Tito was not impressed.
