UFC Live 4: Kongo vs. Barry Highlight Fight Video
This highlight gives a closer look at exactly how ridiculous Cheick Kongo's comeback KO was against Pat Barry in Pitt last night.

UFC Live 4 Results: Kongo vs. Barry will go down as one of the Greatest Comebacks of All Time
"The French are not pussies." - Cheick Kongo
Cheick Kongo may or may not have been knocked out by Pat Barry. It didn't stop him from knocking out Barry seconds later. This fight was one of those you'd have to see it too believe it moments in Mixed Martial Arts history.
After a very lackluster Versus broadcasting following a stellar Facebook Preliminary stream, the Main Event of the evening delivered big time.
No one would have objected if Dan Miragliotta had decided to stop this fight and award Barry the TKO victory. Surely Barry did not expect to come back with any power after at this point Barry leaving himself wide open to a finishing uppercut and right combo from a wobbled Kongo.

UFC Live 4 Results: Brenneman upsets Story
Story was on a terror at 170 ripping off 6 straight victories including one over Thiago Alves 3 weeks ago. A loss against a late replacement like Brenneman transfers all of that glory over to The Spaniard.
Brenneman controlled Story on the ground for 2 straight Rounds. All he had to do was survive the vicious onslaught of a desperate Story in the 3rd to pull off the upset.
Brennmean came in as a 5 - 1 underdog in this one after being pulled off the undercard due to his opponent (T.J. Grant) falling a victim to an illness. Dana White and Joe Silva couldn't of picked a more deserving and grateful fighter to fill in for Nate Marquardt after Marquardt couldn't be medically cleared to fight Story in the Main Event of this very card. Brenneman took the opportunity and ran with it cementing himself as a factor in one of the toughest divisions in the sport.

UFC Live 4: Barry vs. Kongo Live Results
Main Card: (Versus)
• Cheick Kongo defeats Pat Barry via KO (Round 1, 2:39)
This fight will go down as one of the greatest comebacks of all time. This fight delivered. All I can really say. Kongo was basically out twice before he cameback and knocked Barry out cold. As I write this Barry has still not gotten up from the canvas.
• Charlie Brenneman defeats Rick Story via UD (29-28 x 3)
HUGE win for Brenneman as a late replacement for Nate Marquardt. When opportunity knocked The Spaniard answered and he answered big.
• Matt Brown defeats John Howard (29-28 x 3)
The Immortal lives on. After an exciting first round this one put me asleep. Brown did what he had to do to end his 3 fight losing streak (how many guys on this card have a 3 fight losing streak?) and won this in an ugly fashion.
• Matt Mitrione defeats Christian Morecraft via walk off KO (Round 2, 4:28)
This one was GIF worthy.
Preliminary Card: (Facebook Live Stream)
• Tyson Griffin defeats Manny Gamburyan via UD (29-28 x 3)
One of the most exciting fighters in MMA gets a much needed W over a big name top ranked opponent.
• Javier Vazquez defeats Joe Stevenson via UD (30-27, 29-28, 30-27)
Not really anything to write home to mom about here. Stevenson came in with anger written all over his face and just didn't deliver. This could be his last fight in the UFC. He didn't utilize his kicks until it was too late to make a difference. Vazquez was tired and clock watching the whole third while he was up 2 Rounds to none. Stevenson looking to be the fresher fighter of the two did nothing in a time of desperation with his own job on the line.
• Joe Lauzon defeats Curt Warburton via Kimura (Round 1, 1:58)
A dominating performance by a crafty finisher in Lauzon. Right hook followed by a left. Lauzon pushes on Warburton's face and connects with more strikes. Lauzon locks in the kimura and Warburton taps after some serious damage may have already been done to his shoulder. Maybe Lauzon can change his awful nickname to "The Finisher" after this one.
• Rich Attonito defeats Daniel Roberts via UD (29-27, 30-27, 29-28)
Roberts emptied his gas tank early in the 1st and from then on it was just a matter of when Attonito would finish him. A Cro Copesque head kick seemed to be the end for Roberts but to his credit he never gave up. Attonito looks like he could be a force to be reckoned with in his new weight class after a very powerful victory tonight.
• Charles Oliveira defeats Nik Lentz via RNC (Round 2, 1:48)
Karma? After an incredible 1st Round for both opponents this one came to unfortunate end. Oliveira caught a downed Lentz with a clearly illegal knee followed by an eventual legal knee to a dazed Lentz then proceeded to finish him off via rear naked choke. The commission will review this fight and most likely over turn the ruling. Lentz was awarded a win last October over Tyson Griffin via the worst judging of all time.
• Ricardo Lamas defeats Matt Grice via TKO (Round 1, 4:41)
Lamas stuns Grice with a switch kick to the jaw. Grice wants no part of Lamas after this. He goes down and Lamas follows him with more blows until the ref is able to step in between them. Grice is clearly done for the night. 2 straight TKO victories on this card coming a second apart.
• Michael Johnson defeats Edward Faaloloto via TKO (Round 1. 4:42)
Johnson survived the storm that was Faaloloto early in the 1st absorbing an elbow that blooded him early. Johnson sensed Faaloloto tiring as the Round wore on and finishes him with some vicious ground and pound. TKO. Huge 1st win for Johnson.
UFC Live 4 Results: Mitrione defeats Morecraft via Walk off KO
photo via: mmastreamed
With a perfect mix of calm, smooth and accurate, Matt Mitrione improved to 5-0 in the UFC tonight.
The former D Tackle looked very much in control from start too finish in this one ending the contest via Walk off KO a la' Mark Hunt vs. Chris Tuchscherer at UFC 127.
When asked by Joe Rogan post fight if he considered himself a top 20 HW or wanted to call out anyone Mitrione let it be known that he'll fight anyone the UFC brass puts in front of him.

UFC Live 4 Results: Griffin delivers in UFC Featherweight Debut
photo via: b/r
Tyson Griffin and Joe Stevenson entered the Octagon tonight facing similar situations. Not only were both fighters making their UFC Featherweight Debut, both also brought 3 fight losing streaks into the Consol Energy Center tonight.Only one of them came out with the W on this night.
Griffin did everything I found myself screaming at the TV for Stevenson to do in his fight. He picked a target in Gamburyan's left thigh and hammered it for the duration of the fight taking away Gamburyan's mobility. The only real threat here for Manvel was his deadly knockout power. By taking away his speed with leg kicks, Griffin left himself plenty of time to block everything Manvel had for him. The end result is Tyson Griffin ending picking up his first win since the Hermes Franca back at UFC 103 and inserting himself in the conversation at his most comfortable weight.
A Griffin vs. Florian Featherweight Eliminator would be very interesting if Aldo remains on the shelf for too long.
UFC Live 4 Results: Stevenson Loses 4th straight in UFC Featherweight Debut
Joe Stevenson did not fight like a fighter on the chopping block tonight. After dropping two straight rounds on most folks scorecards to Javier Vazquez there was no sense of desperation in Joe Daddy's game come Round 3. Vazquez spent most of the round clock watching, knowing he just had to hang on to win this one. Stevenson finally began to utilize some legs kicks against a fighter who is know to have bad knees but it was too little too late. Stevenson drops his 4th straight and runs the risk of losing his job after a lackluster performance tonight. The former #1 Contender at 155 has looked like a shell of his former self in recent years.
Not to be lost in all this is former the former WEC standout Vazquez earning his first victory inside of the Octagon.

UFC Live 4 Results: Lauzon dominates Warburton
After a loss to George Sotiropoulos via kimura back in Michigan last October, Joe Lauzon came back with a vengeance tonight in Pittsburgh.
One of the nastiest dudes at 155 with one of the most unfortunate nicknames (JLau) put a clinic on Curt Warburton tonight. Lauzon caught the Brit with a deadly right/left combo that dropped him to the canvas. From there on Lauzon smelled blood following him down and preying on him with only one thing on his mind. Finishing the fight. He did not waste anytime picking the kimura out of his submission arsenal and putting Warburton away collecting his 20th professional MMA win in the process.
James Toney vs. Ken Shamrock Press Conference
Yes you read that right. If you haven't heard yet James Toney will be fighting Ken Shamrock under some very interesting special MMA rules.Toney and Shamrock are no stranger to building up fights and if this video is any indication, we will be seeing and hearing a lot more from these two this summer. As much of a circus this one is its equally unavoidable and hilarious. We'll be all over it at hov-mma.

Former UFC Fighter Nate Marquardt's Easy Weight Cut
Very interesting video shot by E. Casey Leydon for NBC . We'll know in a couple of hours exactly why Marquardt will not be making his Welterweight debut tonight against Rick Story.

Marquardt Out of Fight vs. Story, Cut From UFC
So it's been a pretty crazy past couple of hours for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
MMAWeekly broke the story that Marquardt could not be medically cleared to face Rick Story in the Main Event tomorrow night at the aptly named UFC Live 4: Marquardt vs. Story in Pittsburgh. Kongo vs. Barry is bumped up to headliner status and Charlie Brenneman is tapped to take on Story as the Co Main Event of the evening. Thats it right?
No. Apparently there is something rotten in Denmark here. Dana White just posted this video minutes ago:

Strikeforce Challengers 16: Fodor vs. Terry Live Results
Televised Main Card:
• Caros Fodor defeats James Terry via UD (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
Fodor improves to either 11-3, 9-2, or 6-0 depending on which source you wanna use.
• Matt Ricehouse defeats Ryan Couture via UD (29-28 x 3)
Fight of the Night so far. Great effort by Couture. Ricehouse just beat him to the punch through and through.
• Lorenz Larkin defeats Gian Villante via UD (29-28 x 3)
Larkin scores a comeback victory here, his 2nd straight as part of the Challengers series.
• Jason High defeats Quinn Mulhern via UD (30-27 x 3)
High put on a fantastic performance and came out with another W tonight. Mauro and the fans were not entertained. Call me crazy but I was. High couldn't do a lot of work on the ground due to respect for Mulhern's sub game. A number of highlight reel slams for High in this one.

Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum Pick Em
Heavyweight Grand Prix Quarterfinal Bouts:
• Alistair Overeem vs. Fabricio Werdum
This will be Overeem's first fight against a ranked Heavyweight ever. While a quick and deadly knock out of Werdum wouldn't surprise anyone I just don't find it likely. Werdum weathers the storm and wears down Overeem taking this one via Decision.
• Josh Barnett vs. Brett Rogers
Barnett via submission. The Baby Faced Assassin is back.
Main Card:
• K.J. Noons vs. Jorge Masvidal
Karl James Noons via boxing in of the ears
• Daniel Cormier vs. Jeff Monson
One of the bright spots of the Strikeforce Challengers series has been watching the evolution of Daniel Cormier. Look for this AKA product to be a beast for a long time in this sport. Monsoon shouldn't be a problem. Cormier via TKO
• Valentijn Overeem vs. Chad Griggs
Toughest pick of the card! I'll take Griggs via TKO
Prelim Picks:
• JZ Cavalcante vs. Justin Wilcox
Wilcox via UD
• Conor Heun vs. Magno Almeida
Almeida via submission

UFC RIO 6/16 Presser Quotes of Interest
• Dana White:
On the rise of MMA, The Fall of Boxing:
" Once you start watching (mma), it's kinda hard to start watching boxing again. I'm gonna catch some heat for that one."
On Chael Sonnen:
" Chael Sonnen is nuts."
Brazil becoming a regular stop for the UFC?:
"Not only big events but fight nights too. Were gonna be down here alot in alot of different cities." The same thing he said before Toronto. Nothing wrong with that.
The whole Anderson vs. GSP P4P Super Fight Talk:
" There was alot of talk... Never once did we say this fights gonna happen... Yushin Okami deserves a title shot. He's the man. (pointing at Okami) He deserves this fight. (points at A. Silva) Should he win this fight, he says he wouldn't go to 205. Possibly we could have the P4P fight with him vs. Jon Jones if Jones is the Champion. We'll see what happens."
Reporter: " Tell the truth... Why did you bring the UFC to Brazil. Because we have the best fighters or because we have the best Brazilian girl with this Big Ass?"
Dana: " It's a combination of everything."
• Anderson Silva:
On getting the Okami rematch over with, avenging his last loss:
" I don't need to get anything over with... He's a great fighter."
"Just to correct you. I didn't lose."
Moving up in Weight?
" I intend to stay in this division."
On Brazil hating on their own for going to the U.S.:
" The Sport (MMA) as all other sports have been growing. If I mention soccer we see great Brazilian talent going abroad and leaving Brazil exactly because they don't have the support. There's no structure here to keep them here. That's what's happening in MMA."
Does he get tired of getting so much praise?
" To get to where I did is complicated but thank God I have good friends. I know where I belong. I know where I came from and I know where I want to go. "
Motivation to keep his belt:
" My biggest motivation is this. To be able to wake up everyday and to know I'm perfect. I can kick, punch, jump, smile and do my work. Well done. "
His strategy for the Japanese:
" This is a great opportunity for me and Okami."
" The result we'll only be able to find out at the end. Let's wait until Fight Day. Either his victory or mine. We don't know."
• Yushin Okami:
The pressure of fighting against Home Team:
" I'm used to fighting outside of my country."
Not really the most quoteable guy this time around
• Shogun Rua
About the recovery process and if a victory against Forrest can give him motivation to (re) conquer the belt:
" I'll accept a victory for sure if it happens and for sure Forrest is a top guy, and I wanna fight against the best. The one who wins will probably be close to fighting for the Championship. This is my objective. My dream. My dream is the belt but I'm focused on Forrest now. "
Coming off a loss:
" Everytime I lose I see it as a lesson. I try to collect my mistakes and thank God I'm able to evolve. "

• Minotauro:
The importance of this event, these fights:
" This is like the Brazilian soccer team against the world. "
Schaub being on a terror:
" This is a good moment in his career that I want to stop."
On fighting before he may not be fully healed:
" 2 people from my people will be fighting on the same day. I couldn't miss this opportunity (to fight in Brazil)."
" I've just had three surgeries and had to stop for a year and half so it's a great challenge for me to be fighting again."
The winner getting a possible title shot? :
" I would fight Velasquez (Don't do that Big Nog. We care about you too much) but not Cigano. He's a great friend and he's very close to defending a belt. I think I could help him much more training him than being opponent. I help him in all of his fights and he helps me in all of my fights. In our gym, we're brothers, we need to be loyal..."
• Forrest Griffin:
Dealing with the pressure of fighting Shogun in Brazil:
" I'm kinda looking forward too it... once you get into the cage there's really not a lot going on."
Changes since Shogun vs. Forrest 1
" I know he wasn't 100 percent the first fight although I thought the first fight was a great fight from the fans perspective and for him until the end. That was his first fight in the UFC and now this is my first fight in Rio. The advantages I had in the first one he has in the second one."
Having he opportunity to fight A. Silva again:
" Pass."
Advice for Okami against A. Silva?:
" Whatever I did... don't do that." - Okami chuckles
Brendan Schaub:
More afraid of fighting on the ground or standing with Minotauro:
" I think I have an advantage on the feet."
(on the ground) " I'm crazy. I'll take it down there... I like to beat guys at their own game so we'll see."

" To get to where I did is complicated but thank God I have good friends. I know where I belong. I know where I came from and I know where I want to go.

The Voice vs. Badr Hari Preview
Another can't miss interview from Michael "The Voice" Schiavello. Schiavello is a beast when it comes to promoting these events and its always welcome. They are all can't miss interviews. This one looks like it could be the deepest of them all.

The Weekend in Violence: Three Stars
photo: Esther Lin/ mmafighting
1. Junior Dos Santos
Two words. Exclamation points. The 3 Round beating he put on Shane Carwin was more impressive than any of his First Round KO's.
2. Sam Stout
It's a bit surprising that for a man the kids call "Hands of Stone" that his first UFC Knockout would come in his 11th fight with the promotion. Last night he owned that nickname.
3. Dana White
The UFC did the right thing. The Judging for the Michihiro Omigawa vs. Darren Elkins fight (and a couple more on the very same card) was just inexcusable. Everyone who watched that fight (I'm not including the guy who scored it 30-27 because he clearly didn't)
had Omigawa winning either 29-28 or 30-27. White revealed after the fight that Omigawa will collect his win bonus and be treated like he won the fight.
Honorable Mentions: Nick Ring ( "Hey James Head, I got an idea. How about we play UFC 80. I'm B.J. You're Joe Stevenson."), Kenny Florian, Brian Cobb, Shane Carwin (Heart of a Champion)
Full UFC 131 Results: Dos Santos Picks Carwin Apart, Earns Title Shot
Main Card:
• Junior Dos Santos defeats Shane Carwin via UD (30-27 x 2, 30-26)
Dos Santos picked Carwin apart in this one cementing himself once again as the #1 Contender the UFC Heavyweight Title.
• Kenny Florian defeats Diego Nunes via UD (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
Florian outlasted Nunes in his Featherweight debut after a 40 pound weight cut. Will be very interesting to see if this win earns Florian and immediate shot at Jose Aldo. Florian wants Aldo badly.
• Mark Munoz defeats Demian Maia via UD (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
• Dave Herman defeats Jon Olav Einemo via TKO (Round 2, 3:19)
Fight of the Night ($70,000 awarded to both fighters)
• Donald Cerrone defeats Vagner Rocha via UD (30-27, 30-27, 30-26)
Preliminary Card (Spike TV)
• Sam Stout defeats Yves Edwards via KO (Round 1, 3:52)
Knockout of the Night ($70,000 Bonus)
• Chris Weidman defeats Jesse Bongfeldt via standing guillotine (Round 1, 4:54)
Submission of the Night ($70,000 Bonus)
Preliminary Card (Facebook/YouTube)
• Krzysztof Soszynski defeats Mike Massenzio via UD (30-27, 30-26, 30-27)
• Nick Ring defeats James Head via submission (RNC) (Round 3, 3:33)
• Dustin Poirier defeats Jason Young via UD (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
• Joey Beltran defeats Aaron Rosa via TKO (Round 3, 1:26)
• Darren Elkins defeats Michihiro Omigawa via UD (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
Add this one to the list of biggest robberies in UFC history. Dana White confirmed at the Post Fight Presser that Omigawa will collect his win bonus.

UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin Pick Em
Main Card:
• Junior Dos Santos vs. Shane Carwin
Both of these guys are a wee bit scary when they put the 4 oz. gloves on. I could see Dos Santos ending this one via some crazy Steven Seagal Blackhouse Flying summersault 360 wall climbing quadruple toe KO kick. I'll take Carwin via cinderblock fist TKO though.
• Kenny Florian vs. Diego Nunes
Florian via bow throws
• Demian Maia vs. Mark Munoz
Maia hasn't looked impressive in victory or defeat in quite some time now. While 5 straight submission victories look great on a resume, this is one of those " what have you done for me lately Eddie?" fights. Munoz via Ground and Pound
• Jon Olva Einemo vs. Dave Herman
Herman is ready. That said, Einemo via submission
• Donald Cerrone vs. Vagner Rocha
Cerrone via submission of the night.

Countdown to UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin Full Video
Carwin: " I'm gonna knock out Junior Dos Santos... and I think he knows it."
Dos Santos: " We're gonna check his chin out...in my fight."
Also a great break down of Kenny Florian vs. Diego Nunes at Featherweight. Some great stuff with Nunes training with Jose Aldo and Florian with Georges St. Pierre.
A look at Demian Maia vs. Mark Munoz rounds out this edition of Countdown to UFC "insert huge number here".

TUF 13 Finale: Guida vs. Pettis Live Results
Preliminary Card (Facebook):
• Reuben Duran vs. Francisco Rivera
Duran defeats Rivera via RNC (Round 3, 1:57)
• Scott Jorgensen vs. Ken Stone
Jorgensen defeats Stone via KO punch from full guard! (Round 1, 4:01)
Stone was clobbering Scotty Young Guns in the stand up game before Jorgensen got Stone to the ground and landed a wicked shot that turned his opponent into a Zombie.
• Clay Harvison vs. Justin Edwards
Harvison defeats Edwards via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
• Ryan McGillivray vs. Shamar Bailey
Bailey defeats McGillivray via UD (30-27 x 3)
• John Grispi vs. George Roop
Roop defeats Grispi via TKO (solar plexus punch) (Round 3, 3:14)
• Jeremy Stephens vs. Danny Downes
Stephens defeats Downes via UD (30-27, 30-26, 30-26)
Downes made plenty of new fans here in defeat tonight absorbing punishment in all aspects of the game from "Lil Heathen" Stephens.
Main Card (Spike TV):
• Chuck O' Neil vs. Chris Cope
Cope defeats O' Neil via UD (30-27 x 3)
• Kyle Kingsbury vs. Fabio Maldonado
Kingsbury defeats Maldonado via UD (29-28 x 3)
Another FOTN possibility . This is turning out to be one hell of a card minus the Cope vs. O' Neil and Shamar vs. McGillivray fight , every single fight has been outstanding.
• Tim Credeur vs. Ed Herman
Herman defeats Credeur via TKO (Round 1, 0:48)
• Clay Guida vs. Anthony Pettis
Guida defeats Pettis via UD (30-27 x 3)
• Ramsey Nijem vs. Tony Ferguson
Ferguson defeats Nijem via KO (Round 1, 3:54)

UFC Undisputed 3 Trailer
The best feature of this game will be it's PRIDE mode. You get to play as fighters like Wanderlei Silva and Rampage Jackson in Japan at the height of their career. Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros will even be contributing to this title as ring announcers. Soccer kicks, knees and head stomps to downed opponents are allowed and suggested!
Featherweight and Bantamweight rosters will be included. No word yet on whether or not Strikeforce fighters will be.
This game has a release date set for January 2012. Which means it will be released sometime during 2012, hopefully very early.
TUF 13 Finale: Guida vs. Pettis Pick Em
• Clay Guida vs. Anthony Pettis
Clay Guida proved at UFC 125 that he works well seeing a game plan through from start to finish. He had the patience to stay out of Takanori Gomi's range and eventually go in for the kill in order to finish his opponent in under 2 Rounds. It worked against a one dimensional fighter in Gomi. The problem is Pettis is the complete opposite of one dimensional. Pettis is much more dangerous and unpredictable than anyone Guida has already defeated and will take care of business here in his UFC debut. Pettis via Decison
• Ramsey Nijem vs. Tony Ferguson
For the first time in years I did not catch much at all of the TUF series. If I had someone on my staff I'd have them do the picks on these house fights. It'd be like throwing darts so I'm just gonna pass on these but I look forward to catching the season marathon before the fights so I can get all caught up. If I don't fall asleep first.
Next season we will be back to reviewing every episode and enjoying a season that should be one of the best of all time! (not even being sarcastic here. Mayhem vs. Bisping + Bantams and Feathers!)
• Tim Credeur vs. Ed Herman
Credeur via finish
• Kyle Kingsbury vs. Fabio Maldonado
Kingsbury via decision
• Chuck O' Neil vs. Chris Cope
No idea.
Preliminary Card (Facebook Live Stream)
• Jeremy Stephens vs. Danny Downes
This fight, the next fight, and Jorgensen vs. Stone could easily be slotted in on the Main Card. These are three solid fights that hopefully will be available Live on Facebook tomorrow. Danny Downes defeats a solid opponent here in his UFC debut via something that is cool
• John Grispi vs. George Roop
How bad does George Roop want to forget his last fight. We actually could say the same thing about John Grispi though right? This one is really a toss up and could easily take FOTN honors. I'll take Grispi here via KO, taking one of those five steps he lost back after his fight against Porier.
• Ryan McGillivray vs. Shamar Bailey
I keep seeing stuff about the Shamar guy on blogs but nothing about McGillivray. Still not making a pick.
• Clay Harvison vs. Justin Edwards
Another TUF 13 cast fight
• Scott Jorgensen vs. Ken Stone
Scott Jorgensen must have rubbed someone the wrong way over at the Zuffa Main Office. Going from Co Headliner of one of the best MMA cards in the world last year to Undercard of a TUF Finale is a slap in the face in my book. I mean I could understand if he was Jon Fitch or something but this guy is actually one of the more exciting fighters out there. Jorgensen via tune into the Facebook Live Stream for a treat
• Reuben Duran vs. Francisco Rivera
Duran via Decision

UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber Trailer
For the first time in UFC history the Bantamweight Title is on the line when Faber meets Cruz. Also a Co Headliner between Wanderlei and Leben that will surely end with one of the two taking anywhere between a two and five second snooze on the canvas.
Wednesday, June 1, 2011
Official UFC 132: Cruz vs. Faber Poster
On July 2nd Dominick Cruz will attempt to avenge the only loss of his career when he takes on his #1 hater Urijah Faber in Vegas. The only difference this time, The UFC Bantamweight Championship is on the line. Well, it's also over 4 years since they last fought, and it takes place in a different weight class. The lead up to the Main Event should be almost as much fun as the fight considering these two guys have absolutely no love lost between them.
Also on this card Wanderlei Silva makes his long awaited return when he takes on Chris Leben in what should be a Middleweight Festival of Slugging. Wanderlei is coming off an impressive victory over Michael Bisping last February where he poured on the pressure late in each round en route to a Unanimous Decision Victory. Leben dropped his last contest earlier in the year against current Middleweight juggernaut Brian Stann via very bad things.
If Tito Ortiz cannot find a way to defeat Ryan Bader it's a safe bet that this will be the last we see of Tito inside the Octagon. Ortiz hasn't won since 2006, when he added insult to injury defeating Ken Shamrock for his third straight time. If Ortiz can't beat Bader this 4th of July Weekend a fourth fight against Shamrock may be the only way for him to put another W up on the board.

It's no contest. The most anticipated Mixed Martial Arts bout of the summer is official and it takes place July 30th. When Fedor and Hendo do square off it will be Catchweight affair at 220 lbs that will air Live on Showtime.
This event will surely smash the previous Strikeforce ratings record set earlier this year on Showtime when Fedor met Silva. The February 12th Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix opener
